When we created this campaign for Lake Austin Spa we wanted to make sure that first and foremost the beauty of their property came through. So drather than clutter up our beautiful photographs with headlines we've use asterisks as placeholders and let all of the copy live anchored to their branding and contact info at the bottom.
The headlines read:
Enjoy more silence. Experience one of the top spas in the world.
Words get in the way of the view. Experience one of the top spas in the world.
We've found quiet to be most relaxing. Experience one of the top spas in the world.
Most of us don't realize how much damage we do to our teeth every day doing simple things such as drinking coffee and soda. Thankfully, ACT Restoring Mouthwash helps reverse that damage to bring strength back to our smile.
Growth for ACT Restoring Mouthwash went up 46% from previous years after these spots aired.
Being someone who loves the outdoors I was super excited for the opportunity to design Patagonia's Find Your Coordinates™ campaign from the ground up.
This app allowed all of Patagonia's climbers, hikers and surfers to share their favorite spots worldwide. With a single tap, they can mark their favorite coordinates and attach photos, maps and whatever information they wish to share with the Patagonia community.
Based on the coordinates and real-time weather, the app also recommended the best Patagonia products for each location.
King of Prussia is the most exclusive, luxury mall within the Simon Malls franchise. They needed an idea that could differentiate them from other high-end malls in the area. We used the name of the mall as our inspiration and created a kingdom around it.
The main thing my partner and I learned on this shoot: cast a back-up baby.
NPL was looking for a way to launch their sparkling line of water in the Canadian market. In this spot, we showed how the sound of the bottles opening can have a Pavlovian effect on everyone within hearing distance.
This is a mixed collection of logos. The first mark is one that I am proud of as my work was selected to represent the newly launched Publicis Hawkeye agency.
Retirement planning is an intensely personal process that individuals are wisely beginning earlier in their lives, and throughout which a Merrill Lynch Financial Advisor can serve as a trusted advisor.
A friend, Jeremy, was evicted from his home and had to move across town. He wanted to send out invitations that would serve a dual purpose; 1. to explain the reason for his move and 2. to invite everyone to his new place for a housewarming party.
To ensure that the invites stood out in the mail, we sent them in tubes
marked with "EVICTION NOTICE OPEN IMMEDIATELY" (This was the same
marking Jeremy found on the envelope left stapled to his door by the
sheriff). These markings ensured a 100% response rate within 48 hours of
mailing the invitations. It was a good party, too.
As someone who suffers from motion sickness this project was one that hit very close to home. Thankfully, when users (and myself) take Dramamine they are always on steady ground.
Mixed bag of shots i've taken with good and not so good cameras.
I had the opportunity to brand and create the logo and website design for Adam Oliver, an immensely talented musician who just released his first EP. Hit the link below to check out some of his music on iTunes.
Mixed bag of vector pieces I have created. Initially these all began as practice. The first few pieces portraits of characters from one of my favorite shows, Breaking Bad.
The second batch are a couple of blasters I decided for some damn reason to recreate in vector form. 1 billion shapes later and voila, two blasters. I included the wire frames to prove all of the hand drawn shapes are there in their jumble mess.
And lastly, what collection is complete without a fan made alternate Machete movie poster.
To kick off the 2011 Major League Baseball season, Bank of America wanted to remind potential and current customers about their exclusive sponsorship. We created unique posters for the top six markets, including New York, Boston and Chicago.
It doesn't matter who you are or where you came from; big, tall, old, young, brown, green, purple. The one thing we all have in common is a passion for coffee. And at 7-Eleven, we're always open to everyone.
We thought it would be fun to match unique individuals with the way they take their coffee.
